About North Pole
North Pole is a small town of 1570 people but includes a community of nearly 20,000. Fairbanks is
fourteen miles to the northwest and Eielson Air Force Base is thirteen miles to the Southeast. It
is twenty miles to Fairbanks International Airport. Badger Road is an eleven-mile loop road which
leaves the Richardson Highway about five miles out of Fairbanks and comes back to the Richardson
Highway at North Pole. Jolly Acres is located at 10 mile Badger Road.

North Pole is the home of KJNP (King Jesus North Pole) a local AM/FM radio and television studio providing
religious and community broadcasts, and also has two petroleum refineries.
The City of North Pole celebrated fifty years in 2003. Schools in the city include North Pole High, North
Pole Elementary and North Pole Middle with Westcott Swimming Pool. North Pole is where the spirit of
Christmas lives year 'round.
What to do in North Pole:
Stop and enjoy the world famous Santa Claus House and see the reindeer.
Enjoy North Pole's many eating establishments. The Elf's Den, McDonalds,
Wendy's, Safeway Deli, Pizza Hut, Alaska Pizza Co., Subway, Food Factory,
Mambo Grill, Thai Cuisine, the Pagoda Restaurant, Dahlman's Family
Restaurant, Taco Bell, Signature Sandwhiches, Hot Stuff Pizza, Fiire Wok and Arirang just to name just a few.
Lounges include Elf's Den, The Refinery Lounge, Speedway Inn, The Moose Lodge and VFW.
